Time Fluorine and Reach America Partnership: Agrochemical Partnership
- In 2018 Time Fluorine and Reach America formed a global partnership to manufacture and distribute key agro-intermediary chemicals to major pesticide manufacturers
- The partnership utilizes Time Chemical’s production sites in Fuzhou city, located in Jiangxi Province
- Since its formation, the TC / RA JV has become one of the most reliable bulk suppliers of key intermediates used to manufacture agricultural chemicals.

Time Chemical
Time Chemical has three manufacturing plants, two of which are in Jiangxi Province, and one is in inner mongolia. The Jiangxi Province plants are located near one of the largest fluorite mines in Jiangxi, which gives easy access to the starting materials.
Time fluorine holds about 560,000 square meters, 250 m3 of electrolytic fluorine reaction “kettles”, and 15 standard workshops in the city of Fuzhou, in Jiangxi province of China.
Time Chemical has an extensive collaboration with the Shanghai Institute of Organic Chemistry, headed by Prof. Xiao Ji-Chang’s group of Organic Chemistry.
About 20 research scientists work for Time Chemical in their R&D Department (Shanghai), wherein their scientists are turning cutting edge techniques into productivity.
Time Chemical owns several patents related to the manufacture of fluorine chemicals. Each year, numerous papers are published in peer-reviewed journals.
Time Chemicals Research center and plant analytical labs are equipped with state of the art analytical instruments, including ICP-MS, IEC, GC, HPLC, automatic potentiometric titrator, and moisture analyzer
Reach America has made significant contributions to Time Chemicals customer-facing quality control protocols: installing its own QC team to further test each batch of material based on customer specifications, only releasing materials that conforms to the approved specification set by the customer
All the incoming materials, in-process intermediates and final products are reviewed by Reach America and Time Chemicals’s respective Quality Assurance Specialists, which is done so in accordance with the team’s Inspection and Release Management system.

Future Plans
Currently Time Chemical is utilizing only one of their plants in Fuzhou to manufacture the agro-intermediary chemicals, and at present total production volume for DFBN and DFBA is 300 MT/ month.
In the future, the factory will utilize both of Time Chemical’s plants in Fuzhou and increase total production volume of DFBN and DFBA to 600 MT/ month, based on customer demand
Work directly with leading pesticide manufacturers to develop new agro-intermediary chemicals that will allow them to produce new products
